My online psychotherapy practice is based in New York.
I work with women in midlife who are navigating anxiety, the re-emergence of past unresolved experiences during perimenopause, and the emotional impact of having their affair discovered.
I am licensed in New York and New Jersey, and registered to provide telehealth services to clients in Florida.

I work as an out-of-network provider and do not participate directly with insurance plans.
If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I can provide a monthly superbill upon request for you to submit to your insurance carrier for possible partial reimbursement.
Please note that out-of-network benefits do not guarantee reimbursement, and any reimbursement is determined solely by your insurance carrier.
Insurance companies do not reimburse for extended psychotherapy sessions. Any potential reimbursement applies only to the first 60 minutes of an extended or intensive session.
For details about out-of-network coverage, coinsurance, and plan limits, please contact your insurance carrier directly.
All insurance carriers require a diagnosis on any superbill submitted.
-
Using out-of-network benefits means you pay my fee directly and submit claims to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement.
Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is determined solely by your insurance carrier.
Any reimbursement is based on your plan’s allowed amount, not my full fee.
Extended and intensive psychotherapy sessions are reimbursed, if at all, only at the standard session rate set by your insurer.
All superbills require a diagnosis, per insurance company requirements.
For the most accurate information, please contact your insurance carrier directly regarding coverage, deductibles, coinsurance, and plan limits.
-
When contacting your insurance carrier, you may want to ask:
Does my plan include out-of-network benefits? If so, how do I submit superbills?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible? If yes, what is the amount?
What is the allowed amount for the following CPT codes?
90791 (initial session)
90834 (50-minute follow-up sessions)
90837 (extended or intensive sessions)
Once my deductible is met, what is my coinsurance?
The allowed amount is the rate your insurance company recognizes for a service. This amount—often less than my full fee—is applied to your deductible and used to calculate any reimbursement.
Policies & Logistics
-
Psychotherapy is a meaningful commitment to your emotional well-being. Consistent attendance supports depth, continuity, and the progress we are working toward together.
For this reason, sessions are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, and appointment times are reserved specifically for you.
If you need to miss a session and notify me prior to the scheduled start time, you may request a make-up session within a limited window, subject to availability. Sessions missed without prior notice, or sessions not made up within that window, are charged at the full session fee.
A detailed consistency and cancellation policy is reviewed and agreed to as part of the intake process.

Sliding scale availability is extremely limited and not routinely offered. At this time, all sliding scale spots are filled.
