I work with women in midlife across four primary clinical areas. While the concerns differ, the underlying approach is consistent: therapy that addresses what is driving the experience, not only its surface expression.

Select an area below to learn more about how I work with that specific presentation.

Anxiety & Panic

When anxiety has become persistent, disproportionate, or no longer responds to what used to calm it.

Anxiety in midlife is often more than stress. It can reflect long-standing patterns in the nervous system that formed much earlier in life. Hormonal and identity shifts can make those patterns harder to override, bringing them more to the surface. This work focuses on understanding and addressing the source of your anxiety — not only managing its symptoms.

Perimenopause & Menopause

When hormonal shifts are exposing emotional material that once felt manageable.

The hormonal changes that occur in perimenopause can affect how emotions are processed and regulated, making it more difficult to cope in the way you once did. For women who have relied on competence and composure, that shift can be upsetting. This work focuses on understanding how hormonal change intersects with long-standing patterns — and responding to both with clarity and care.

Trauma & Overwhelming Experience

When past experiences continue to shape the present — even when they seem resolved.

Trauma is not always what is considered the worst of the worst. It can show up as chronic self-criticism, persistent anxiety or panic, patterns in relationships, or a sense of activation in situations that should feel safe. In midlife, experiences you believed were addressed or managed can resurface in ways that feel disproportionate or confusing. This work uses Brainspotting, parts work and EMDR to process what your nervous system has been carrying.

Therapy After Your Affair

For women navigating the personal and relational aftermath of disclosure.

When an affair becomes known, the external consequences are immediate — but the internal impact can be just as significant. You may find yourself questioning your choices, your identity, and how you arrived at this point, while also facing pressure to explain, repair, and make decisions. This work provides space to think clearly, understand what led here, and move forward with intention rather than from a place of overwhelm.

Not sure where to begin?

Many of the women I work with find that more than one of these areas resonates. The consultation call provides space to discuss what you’re navigating and determine whether this approach feels appropriate for you at this stage.
