MENOPAUSE MINI COURSE FOR THERAPISTS

Perimenopause & Menopause: An Overlooked Experience in Client Care

A $37 minicourse for therapists, coaches, and helping professionals who don’t specialize in midlife—but still see its impact in the room. Gain the knowledge and language to stay informed, confident, and effective when midlife shows up in your work.

Generalists. Couples practitioners. Male providers.

If you’ve ever felt uncertain about how to support clients when perimenopause shows up—directly or indirectly—this course gives you the essential knowledge and language you need.

Maybe you’ve sat with:

  • A midlife woman who says she “just doesn’t feel like herself anymore.”

  • A couple struggling with irritability, low desire, or emotional distance.

  • A male client stressed about his partner’s mood swings, sleep issues, or anxiety.

Whether you’re a therapist, coach, or integrative provider, you’ve been trained to address stress, anxiety, and relationships. But what most trainings never taught is that perimenopause and menopause can mimic, magnify, or drive all of these challenges.

This minicourse gives you the essentials to recognize what’s happening and the language to validate it—without guessing, dismissing, or overstepping your role.

If you work with adults in their 40s, 50s, or beyond—even occasionally—you’ll encounter the ripple effects of midlife changes.

Without this context, it’s easy to:

❌ Treat symptoms that don’t fully resolve because hormones are part of the picture.

❌ Struggle with stalled progress in couples or family work.

❌ Miss what’s fueling a client’s stress when their partner is the one in midlife transition.

With just 2 hours of focused learning, you’ll:

✔️ Understand the basics of perimenopause and menopause

✔️ Know how to talk about it with clients confidently and professionally.

✔️ Keep your sessions effective, relationally attuned, and grounded in what clients are really experiencing.

In under 2 hours, you’ll walk away with:

1. Recognition skills: Spot when perimenopause or menopause may be influencing mood, anxiety, or relationship stress.

2. Confidence with language: Professional ways to validate clients’ experiences—whether you’re a therapist, coach, or integrative provider.

3. Relational context: Understand how menopause impacts couples and families—even if your direct client isn’t the one experiencing it.

4. Direction, not confusion: Know when to support in your role, when referral makes sense, and how to collaborate effectively.

This is concise, practical guidance you can bring into your work immediately, so you can feel more effective, and your clients can feel more understood.

About your Instructor

I’m Carol Covelli, LCSW.

I’m a trauma-trained therapist who specializes in supporting women in midlife through anxiety, transitions, and emotional challenges connected to, or exacerbated by, perimenopause and menopause.

I bring a supportive, grounded presence to our sessions and create space for all the parts of you, especially the ones that feel tired, uncertain, or unseen.

I’ve been supporting each of my client’s journeys for almost 20 years.  I’ve seen clients dismissed or misunderstood—not because their provider wasn’t skilled, but because no one ever taught them how perimenopause can show up in the therapy room.

I built this minicourse to fill that gap—for therapists, coaches, and integrative providers who want to stay attuned and effective with every client, whether they specialize in midlife or not.

“Carol is a trusted colleague of mine.

She is a calm and confident presence and super easy to talk to. She is an excellent clinician and is always learn new modalities like brainspotting and EMDR, which shows that she really loves the work she does and wants to stay on the cutting edge in her field.

She is an amazing therapist for people who need support through trauma and figuring out mid-life and how to thrive in it. I would not hesitate to recommend Carol. She is a wonderful therapist and expert to women in mid-life.”

Drew Rabidoux, LCSW

“Carol is perhaps the most dedicated clinician I know.

She relentlessly pursues the most current and effective therapies to help her clients. She is fun and insightful and incredibly kind and compassionate. She is my go to therapist to refer to when someone needs to work through any kind of trauma.

She pushes herself to be the absolute best version of herself and also pushes those around her to do the same. And I am very grateful to have her in my life. You will be too!”

Alyse Freda-Colon, LCSW
